Deine Aufgaben

In this role you will

As part of this responsibility, the role will have frequent contact with customers personnel, both through face-to-face meetings at customer sites and through telephone/conference calls. The role will manage ongoing engagement between multiple levels and functions at Entegris and client organizations and guiding opportunities through a sales funnel.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Drive revenue growth and meet/exceed revenue target for Scientific Instrument Territory for both SEMI and Non-SEMI markets; and provide input to Sales and Product Management to revise and create useful sales collateral
  • Promote and effectively present the benefits and capabilities of our technology by traveling to client facilities and conduct sales calls for the Scientific Instrument group as well as attend industry trade shows and support webinar activity for the territory
  • Introduce SI products to qualified, prospective customers, including conducting detailed hands-on training and product evaluation oversight.
  • Perform equipment installation & training to new clients and attain mandatory equipment certification to perform calibrations (IQ/OQ validation)
  • Successfully following up on leads, prospect for sales opportunities by contacting customers in the territory and creating new opportunities
  • Work with AMH Divisional and Life Science sales teams to foster/cultivate new business
  • Maintain a strong collaboration with Lab Market Sales Channel Partners
  • Provide Voice-of-Customer feedback to Product Management team; forecasts on Quarterly basis (or as required by Management) as well as quotations, solicit purchase orders and finalize sales

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

Besides an open, ambitious, and communicative behavior, well-developed skills in (self-)organization, communication, and sales would be a good fit for the position. You are best equipped for the tasks, if you have:

  • Relevant experience in a comparable position, meaning strong technical expertise and professional experience in selling Scientific Instruments or technically equivalent products in the laboratory or semiconductor environment, ideally you are already part of a strong network with existing relationships in those target markets
  • An advanced degree (Bachelors degree or higher) in the scientific field; preferably Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics or any other related fields
  • High level of motivation and flexibility, creativity and curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, customer service mentality with both internal and external stakeholders for an efficient use of resources to achieve sales objectives
  • Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills in English and German, proficiency in further European languages (e. g. French) are very beneficial
