• Oversees the development, planning, and implementation of regional field environmental, health and safety policies,
procedures, business processes and prevention initiatives throughout the defined region
• Develops and oversees company training programs for employees in areas such as compliance training, lab/plant
inspection, hazardous material handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene, and life safety
• Ensures compliance with local regulations pertaining to environmental safety and handles all contact with appropriate
agencies
• Participate in the development of projects and prevention initiatives as well as participate in incident
investigations. Manages Region EHS Field leading performance metrics and uses information to assist in business
reporting and decision making. Prepare and present related information and indicators on a quarterly basis and as
often as requested / needed
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering preferred or equivalent with 5 years of EHS experience ideally in
semiconductor industry
• Knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and requirements in the different countries of EMEA region
• Technical experience in the areas of field service, EHS, product safety or semiconductor operations
• Specific Safety certification in any of the relevant EMEA country desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, influence and drive results
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills and demonstrated expertise in a formal problem-solving
methodology.
• Fluent in English, 1 or 2 other languages would be a plus
• Travel flexibility within Europe on a regular base and oversea occasionally
